MUST LOVE DOGS NW IS DEDICATED TO PREVENTING ANIMAL HOMELESSNESS

Since 2008, Must Love Dogs NW has been deeply committed to ending pet homelessness in our community. We strive to educate the public on responsible dog ownership, behavior modification, and training assistance. We work to rehome dogs that are abused, neglected, homeless or about to be homeless and those in shelter settings. We provide spay/neuter and microchip assistance to animals in need. Through our volunteer foster network we are able to provide a loving home environment where we can get to know our dogs well and fully assess their needs. Must Love Dogs NW is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that relies 100% on the generosity of the community. Help us make a difference today.

Meet, Moe, aka Moana! A cute little three year old gal looking for her forever home. She came to us while boarding at one of our partner clinics and was going to be taken to the humane society. Luckily a staff member thought she would be better off in a foster and she is doing great. Moe is a very sweet, loyal, and anxious. She takes a daily anti-anxiety medication which helps a lot and will need to be continued. Moe has her “person” - she gets super excited to see her person and because she loves you so much she doesn’t like to share. Moe would do best in a home without children and other dogs, but is good with cats!
Moe is up to date on vaccines and the adoption fee is $350. If interested in adopting, please email incoming@mustlovedogsnw.org and we can forward you an application!

Sunny, 2 year old, 110 pound Labrador Retriever is looking for his Furever home with YOU! Sunny would make a great addition to a family, he does great with children. He is what you call a “gentle giant.” Sunny does great with other dogs, he goes to doggy day care three times a week for the day to get exercise & socialization. He has not lived with another dog, but there is no reason he couldn’t! Sunny has never interacted face to face with a cat so we are uncertain what his reaction would be, besides on walks, he does notice them but minds his business. Sunny is currently on a weight loss program so adopters should be aware! He also has a condition called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI for short). It is currently managed with a pancreatic enzyme along with B12 tablets. Sunny overall enjoys going to doggy daycare, getting groomed about every 6-8 weeks, going on walks, to the dog park & even playing ball with his owner. Sunny would prefer to have a home with a fenced backyard as well!

If Sunny sounds right for you, please apply at mustlovedogsnw.org!

Buddy is about a 6 year old Malti-Poo waiting for his forever home! Buddy did not have it easy in the past especially with children and it is the reason why Buddy would thrive in a home with adults only and no other pets. Buddy has a lot of love to give, to a experienced adult dog owner. Buddy loves to play with his toys, he gets super excited when you come home from a long day of work and is also very independent. He does whine when home alone and there is also some leash reactivity and food/resource guarding that needs to be worked on. Buddy is ok with other dogs but tries to be the alpha so we are advising he be the only dog in a home. He wants to chase cats on his walks so cats are unfortunately a no go and kids are too scary for this little guy.

If Buddy sounds like the one for you, please apply! He is current on all vaccines and adoption fee is $150.
