MUST LOVE DOGS NW IS DEDICATED TO PREVENTING ANIMAL HOMELESSNESS

Since 2008, Must Love Dogs NW has been deeply committed to ending pet homelessness in our community. We strive to educate the public on responsible dog ownership, behavior modification, and training assistance. We work to rehome dogs that are abused, neglected, homeless or about to be homeless and those in shelter settings. We provide spay/neuter and microchip assistance to animals in need. Through our volunteer foster network we are able to provide a loving home environment where we can get to know our dogs well and fully assess their needs. Must Love Dogs NW is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that relies 100% on the generosity of the community. Help us make a difference today.

Must Love Dogs NW

While many of us are safe (if slightly bored) at home, there is still a need for what Must Love Dogs NW does for our community. In fact, our services are in an even higher demand due to the economic impact of Covid-19 on those we serve.

This past week we assisted on an urgent cystotomy, helped an elderly client pay for pain medication for her senior pet that she otherwise would not have been able to afford and have several spay/neuters and a compassion grant procedure scheduled for the coming weeks.

All of these cases include working closely with our awesome partner vets – Mountain View Veterinary Hospital, WellHaven Pet Health, Claus Paws Animal Hospital and Banfield Pet Hospital - and we are so thrilled to be able to make a difference for each of these cases.

My room is not a pretty space. It was thrown together for function to keep me safe. When I entered foster I was riddled with anxiety and turned into a drywall eating machine. It scared my foster mom so this ugly space was the solution.

We’re in quarantine SO Fort Knox is turning into Bella’s boudoir using materials we have on hand! Green is supposed to be a calming color 🤞 We’ll post updated pics when it’s done!
